O2 Atom and windows mobile center problem

I have Vista Beta 2 up and running on my nc8230 notebook with a 1gig USB stick being used as Ready Boost. The first time I plugged my O2 Atom in I got the nice Windows Mobile Center come up and transfered files across nicely....no more Active Snyc....that has to be a good thing!
Then a few days later went to do the same thing and nothing happened, phone charges of the USB but Windows Mobile Center does not start up. Tried this with the ReadyBoost USB stick in and out.......Can I manually kick the mobile center off?
